Luca Sala
Luca Sala graduated in Law in 2012 from Università Cattolica del Sacro Cuore in Milan with a thesis in industrial law. During his studies, he spent a period at Monash University in Melbourne. He completed his education with specialized courses in intellectual property, including the IDEA China program by the Italian Trade Agency (ICE) and the Trade Mark and Design Education Program by the EUIPO.
Luca has been registered with the Italian Industrial Property Consultants Institute, Trade Marks Section, since 2018 and is accredited to represent clients before the Italian Patent and Trademark Office (UIBM) and the European Union Intellectual Property Office (EUIPO).
He has gained extensive experience in law firms and IP consultancies both in Italy and abroad, managing and enhancing trademark portfolios for Italian and international companies across various industries, including automotive, pharmaceuticals, fashion, food, and wine.
His practice includes trademark clearance searches, legal opinions, oppositions, invalidity actions, and proceedings before UIBM and EUIPO. He also handles IP contracts, due diligence, anti-counterfeiting activities, and the negotiation of coexistence and settlement agreements, as well as coordinating trademark protection strategies abroad in collaboration with local associates.
