Maria Vittoria Primiceri
Graduated with honours in Chemistry at the University La Sapienza in Rome, Italy. Maria Vittoria has been active in Industrial Property Consultancy since 1983, and is an accredited Power of Attorney of Patents at the Italian Patents and Trademarks Office (UIBM) and the European Patents Office (EPO), as well as for trademarks, designs and models at the European Union Intellectual Property Office (EUIPO).
She assists clients in the drafting and prosecution of patent and design applications (UIBM-EPO-WIPO-EUIPO), deals with oppositions and appeals, and relative case hearings, before the European Patent Office (EPO), and carries out patent searches and drafting of patentability opinions and implementation of freedom of inventions. Moreover, she supports legal consultants with regard to patent and design disputes before Italian Law Courts and provides company consultancy and assistance in the evaluation of intellectual property assets. Technical fields: Chemistry, pharmaceutical, mechanics and biotech.

She is Member of EPI, AIPPI Italia, AIDB (Italian Association of Patent Documentalists) and SCI (Italian Chemistry Association): Member of the Association of Technical Consultants at the Rome Law Courts (section specialised in Industrial Property and corporate matters); Member of the Association of Industrial Property Consultants (Patents and Trademarks); and Member of the Interregional Association of Chemists in the regions of Lazio, Umbria, Abruzzo and Molise.
