Laura Colombo
Graduated in Legal Sciences and Law from Bocconi University in 2008, Laura Colombo has been registered with the Order of Industrial Property Consultants in the Trademarks section since 2013 and is accredited with the European Union Intellectual Property Office (EUIPO). She also operates at the World Intellectual Property Organization (WIPO) and the Swiss Federal Institute of Intellectual Property (IPI). Since 2023, she has been a member of the Swiss Association of Patent and Trademark Attorneys.
In 2015, Laura joined the Swiss firm Fiammenghi-Fiammenghi, the first to specialize in Industrial Property in Ticino, and in 2016 she began leading the Trademark Department.
Laura manages client trademark portfolios globally, from initial consultation to filing, including drafting opinions and conducting prior art searches, as well as prosecution activities, handling official actions, opposition procedures, and invalidation and cancellation actions. In the extrajudicial sphere, she handles negotiations aimed at obtaining consent letters and coexistence and licensing agreements, as well as drafting related contracts. Laura's professional activities also include managing surveillance services, related notifications, and drafting cease and desist letters concerning trademarks and domain names.
