Alda Tola
Graduated in Law from the Alma Mater of Bologna in 2006, she continued her studies in the field of Intellectual Property with a master’s degree in "Intellectual Property and Anti-Counterfeiting" (MOPI) of Convey IP and the advanced course "Trademark and Design Education Programme" organized by the EUIPO (European Union Intellectual Property Office) for IP professionals.
Enrolled in 2009 at the Italian Industrial Property Consultants Institute, she is a professional representative before the IPTO (Italian Patent and Trademark Office), the EUIPO, the WIPO (World Intellectual Property Organization) and, since 2011, also before the EPO (European Patent Office). After graduating in Italy, she achieved the qualification of attorney at law in Albania, her country of origin.
Alda acts for Italian and foreign clients and assists them in creating, enhancing, and protecting corporate intellectual property assets, with a particular focus on distinctive signs. Her significant experience includes due diligences, anti-counterfeiting activities, oppositions, nullity and forfeiture actions, negotiations, settlement and coexistence agreements’ drafts, WIPO UDRP on domains and customs surveillance services. Alda has worked for many years in leading IP consultancy firms, serving as tutor and head of the trademark area.
